Acclaimed silent film-accompanist Neil Brand brings to the road this brand new show in honour of a century of Laurel & Hardy! Transporting the audience back to the early days of Hollywood before the talkies', Neil celebrates the serendipitous meeting of two comedic talents on the set of 45 Minutes from Hollywood, whose contrasting styles forged one of the most enduring comedy partnerships in history. To this day Laurel and Hardy remain two of the most globally recognisable faces in 20th-century comedy; Neil brings his trademark piano accompaniment to newly restored footage and rarely seen film of the pair!

Neil Brand has become the modern day expert at the vintage craft of improvised piano accompaniment to silent films. Regularly performing and hosting silent films at London's BFI, The Barbican and on tour around the world, as well as regular slots and musical arrangements for the BBC alongside other composition work, his shows are hugely entertaining and a unique way to experience these films the way they were supposed to be.
